A Meaty Week of Surveying in North West London

Although residential surveying is what we are best known for, Chartered Surveyor Doug Snell started off last week with a schedule of dilapidation for the owner of a butcher’s shop in North West London, later described as “in offal condition” (ouch!).

A Meaty Week of Surveying in North West London

Although residential surveying is what we are best known for, Chartered Surveyor Doug Snell started off last week with a schedule of dilapidation for the owner of a butcher’s shop in North West London, later described as “in offal condition” (ouch!).

Doug then went on to inspect a 1930’s first floor flat conversion just down the road for a buyer, finding only “the usual” maintenance items, but pointing out the loft should not be used as a habitable room.

Tuesday sees Doug in Berkhamsted looking at a beautiful flat behind the local landmark, Rex Cinema, a fine restored Art Deco building in the centre of this charming market town.  Middle of the week takes Doug to Wembley and Islington for two Structural Investigations, diagnosing the reasons for a bouncy hall floor in one and damp in a basement that wasn’t rising damp as you might suspect.

A full Building Survey in Rickmansworth and then a Flat Purchase Survey in Uxbridge fill Thursday’s calendar, finishing off on Friday in Pinner with a House Purchase Survey on a very fine looking Neo Georgian Detached residence.

We love the variety of our work, so no matter what your client needs pass them to us and we will talk through their needs “chop-chop”!
