We’re pleased to announce that our survey team is now equipped with drone technology, which is already transforming our work.
Inspecting roof coverings, chimney stacks, and upper-level defects traditionally relied on ladders, binoculars, or costly scaffolding. Our drone can now carry out high-resolution aerial inspections quickly, safely, and with minimal disruption. This is especially useful for tall buildings, steep or fragile roofs, and properties with limited access, where physical inspection may be unsafe or impractical.
Using a drone allows us to capture detailed imagery from multiple angles, enabling a more thorough assessment of hard-to-reach areas. It also helps us identify early signs of deterioration, such as cracked chimney pots, loose ridge tiles, or blocked gutters – all of which could lead to costly repairs if overlooked.
From a safety and efficiency perspective, the benefits are clear: less time spent on-site, reduced need for access equipment, and better-quality evidence for our reports.
As drone regulations are strictly enforced, our surveyors are fully licensed and CAA-approved. All flights are carried out in accordance with UK aviation law and best practice.

We’re excited to continue evolving with technology, and drones are just one tool helping us deliver smarter, safer, and more comprehensive residential surveys.
